Recruiting & staffing operations — software and guides
Resources for recruitment and staffing agency managers: an all-in-one platform for jobs, candidates, clients, placements, consultants and time, plus operations guides covering automation, ATS, CRM and back-office architecture.
Where the time goes in an agency
A recruiter's time disappears into tasks that require no professional judgement: copying data between systems, chasing approvals, coordinating diaries, remembering pending assessments and reconstructing the state of a search for the Monday meeting. That is the block that needs to disappear.
The measure that best predicts the problem is how many times the same data gets retyped in a complete cycle. In an agency with separate tools, a single contract placement can require entering the same person into the applicant system, the CRM, the assignment sheet, the time record and the billing template.
- Posting, confirmations and reminders automated
- One identity for the person across the whole journey
- The state of each search without hand-built reports
- Closing reason from a defined, reusable list
Permanent placement and contract staffing are not the same business
Two models with different operational demands live under the same roof. A permanent placement ends with a fee and a guarantee period; contract staffing begins right there and generates hours, approvals, recurring invoicing and per-consultant margin control for months.
Software that is excellent for the first can be useless for the second, and mixed agencies tend to discover that difference late. Where there is a contracting component, the operations layer stops being optional: without it the economic result is known weeks late and always in a parallel spreadsheet.
- Fee, guarantee and clawback causes clearly defined
- Assignments with rate, cost and margin per consultant
- Hours and approvals connected to the client contract
- Recurring invoicing without manual collection
