Every project under control, from the client's request to the end date.

In hice you follow every job from the first request to the very end: who works on it, at what rate, when it ends. On fixed-price projects you also see the margin (what you actually keep) while the work moves forward.

One job, from first request to renewal

Follow the same Client Beta request through five moments. It's always the same data: nobody retypes it when it moves to the next stage.

  1. The client asks

Client Beta asks you for a data consultant for six months. Instead of leaving the request in an email, you log it in hice straight away as an opportunity: who asked, what they need, from when.

  2. It goes into the pipeline

An opportunity is an open deal. It goes into the pipeline, the list of all your deals grouped by stage, with the rate you're aiming for and the duration. You see at a glance what's about to close.

  3. Proposal and signature

You put the right profiles forward to the client and follow the interviews, stage by stage. When the client signs, the opportunity becomes a project in one click: nothing to retype.

  4. The project moves forward

In the project you see the assigned consultants, the rate and how often you invoice. hice reminds you of follow-ups with the people working at the client, so you know how it's going before any surprises.

  5. Renewal or close

Sixty days before the project ends, hice lets you know. You have time to propose a follow-on to the client or get the consultant ready for the next job.

By the day or at a fixed price, the way you work

hice sets up projects based on the type of company you choose: by the day for T&M consulting, at a fixed price for IT agencies and professional firms. The numbers below are examples.

Time & Materials: the client pays for days

This is work by the day. You agree on a daily rate with the client. In hice you assign consultants to the project and record the rate, the duration and how often you invoice, so the whole team knows the terms.

Fixed price: the client pays for the result

You agree on a price for the whole job and split it into phases. Each phase ends with a milestone, a checkpoint agreed with the client. You see where you stand and what you keep.

What changes in your projects

No project ends without warning.

Sixty days before any project ends, by the day or at a fixed price, hice alerts the person running it.

On fixed price, you see the margin as you work.

Hours logged by the team and external costs update the margin. If it drops below the threshold you set, hice lets you know.

All projects in one view, end dates included.

Clients, project leads and end dates, one under the other. When a project is about to end, you know sixty days in advance.
