The CRM that speaks IT consulting

Project pipeline, enterprise accounts, decision makers, master agreements, RFPs. All in chat with AI that remembers every contact.

Generic CRMs don't get IT consulting

Selling an IT consulting project isn't like selling SaaS. Long cycles (6-18 months), many decision makers, complex RFPs, multi-year master agreements, milestone deals.

    • B2C/SaaS CRMs that ask you to close in 30 days
    • No support for multi-project master agreements
    • Unreliable forecast because the model is wrong
    • Enterprise decision makers not properly mapped
    • Complex RFPs treated as simple opportunities

    CRM born for IT consulting

hice.ai natively models enterprise accounts, master agreements, child projects, milestones, multiple decision makers. AI remembers every interaction and suggests next steps.

    • "Status of open deals on Enel"
    • "Who are the mapped decision makers at TIM?"
    • "When does the Generali master agreement expire?"
    • "Suggest next follow-up on the Eni deal"

What an IT consulting CRM must record that a generic one does not ask for

The practical difference between a standard B2B CRM and a consulting one is not the number of fields but what is kept about each opportunity. An IT consulting contract is not summed up by amount and close date: you need to know which roles have been committed, from when, for how long and at what weekly allocation, because that is what determines whether the firm can deliver it.

When those data do not exist, the organization finds out late and always the same way: it wins a project needing three senior profiles within four weeks and none is free. The pipeline then stops being a planning tool and becomes a report read after the fact.

    • Roles required, seniority and allocation percentage per opportunity
    • Expected start date and the real flexibility around it
    • Contract type: T&M, fixed price, framework agreement or hour bank
    • Link to the framework agreement the project draws down

How to map an enterprise account without losing the thread

A large account always has more than one contact, and the person with the problem, the person who signs and the person who can block are rarely the same. A useful decision map identifies the four usual roles β€” sponsor, buyer, influential user and process gatekeeper β€” records the relationship between them and notes who has changed jobs, which happens often across twelve to eighteen month cycles.

Equally important is keeping the record of what was delivered. In consulting, the strongest commercial evidence with a new unit of the same group is a previous project done well, and that information sits in delivery rather than in the CRM. Connecting the two turns every delivery into verifiable sales material.

    • Hierarchy of holding, subsidiaries and units with their own budget
    • History of delivered projects and their actual outcome
    • Framework agreement expiry and renewal windows
    • Contact changes with date and replacement

A forecast that supports decisions, not just reporting

Stage probabilities should come from the firm's own historical conversion, segmented at least by service type and opportunity origin. An inbound request from a current client and a cold approach in a new sector do not convert alike, and applying the same percentage distorts the total even when each case looks reasonable on its own.

Very large opportunities are also worth treating separately. When a single deal represents a meaningful share of the quarter, the real outcome will be much better or much worse than the weighted average, never the average. Isolating it as its own scenario avoids hiring decisions based on a number nobody will ever see.

    • Probabilities derived from your own data, not set by hand
    • Committed, weighted and total views on the same screen
    • Large deals treated as an independent scenario
    • Review of what changed since the previous forecast
